Forty-eight hours after reports on the identification of a widespread network of elements who cooperated with the BBC Farsi Service in Tehran, an informed source said that a few hours ago, a number of BBC cooperates were arrested in various places and the procedures to hand them over to responsible systems is in progress.
According to this report, these people were members of a BBC network in Tehran who secretly provided information, films and reports from various environments with the aim of demonizing Iran and the Iranian nation. (Asre Iran state-run website – Sep. 18, 2011)
