Iran hangs four people in group execution in Kerman
According to reports, four prisoners in the Central Kerman Prison were secretly hanged in a group execution. On Saturday September 6, four prisoners who had been jailed in Kerman Prison for a few years were hanged. Their names are as follows:
Qasem Hanif, son of Morteza, about 50 years old, was jailed for 3 years
Hamid Karabasi, son of Hassan
Hossein Jalali, son of Soleiman
Siamak Malek Malayeri, son of Ali
These four prisoners were sentenced to death by a Judge named Qorbani in the Kerman Revolutionary Court. There were all charged with drug related crimes. (Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran – Sep. 24, 2011)
